THE FILM REVIEW Mamma Mia is a love and adventure film based on the songs of an ancient group called ABBA. Is it set on a island called “Kalokairi” in Greece and tells the story of a 20 year old girl that is to get married and wants to know who her father is before doing it. The leading role is played by Amanda Seyfried. The film also stars Maryl Streep, Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth and Christine Baranski. The main characters are Sophie, the girl that is going to get married and Donna, her mother (Maryl Streep). The story begins when Sophie reads her mother’s old diary and discovers that her father could be 3 different people, so she finally decides to invite all of them to the wedding. They appear and her mother thinks that they came to ruin her daughter’s wedding and tries to chase them out. DIARY OF MARY HUMPHREY Day 9- My brother says that people don’t think that we are hiding in such a dangerous place, so, we are safe. We are still trying to know where our parents are. They are very clever; they will be in a secure place too. Neither of us bare in mind that this could happen but, in fact, it’s happening. We knew that this president was not of our part and, despite this, we did what we were supposed to do. Nobody let us know the true, nobody said us that being black was a problem and that Trump would try to kill us. We thought that he would change his point of view with the pressure of the other countries. We were wrong. Bad people never change.
